Full course description
This basic level course is designed to introduce participants to the AutoCAD software package, focusing on 2-dimentional technical drawings. The step-by-step approach is beneficial for those with little to no previous AutoCAD experience, or participants who have not had experience with AutoCAD in a Windows environment. The course begins with the basics of drawing and manipulation of lines and shapes, showing multiple commands to accomplish the same final products. The course will progress from small objects to large floor plans and elevations, while mastering the creation and manipulation of lines, circles, polygons, etc. This step-by-step approach is instructed by OSU Construction Engineering Technology Dr. Heather Yates.
